Supporting SSIP Food Closet is easy and sweet!

This year on June 7, 2024 our annual fundraising event, Full Plates, Full Hearts will include an in-person live and silent auction, and Ice Cream Social event featuring Gunther Ice Cream’s yummy Waffle Sundae Bar. The event will be held between 4pm - 6pm. at Bethany Presbyterian Church Social Hall, Sacramento.

At the event, you’ll have an opportunity to meet other supporters, and enjoy audio and visual entertainment celebrating the important services SSIP Food Closet provides to those in Sacramento. We’re looking forward to seeing you at our FPFH 2024 event. Purchase tickets here.

We are projected to meet or exceed the over 186,000 individuals fed in 2023. The demand for our service remains elevated; your generous financial contributions will augment our food supply to keep up with the increased demand. More neighbors are turning to emergency food distribution agencies as a basic need to make ends meet. The primary mission of the SSIP Food Closet is to maintain and operate an emergency food distribution program to alleviate food insecurity for Sacramento Area residents.
