Thanks for Supporting Families in Need

From the July 2022 issue of Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services newsletter.

“My name is Maria, and up until two months ago, my husband and I struggled to feed our three children, ages 5 to 7.  After we paid for rent and utilties, we only had about $300 each month for food, and it wasn’t enough, especially with the growing inflation.

“Then a friend told me about the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet.  I’ve been coming almost every day since then.   I really appreciate the fresh produce, dairy, cereal, meat, and snacks for the kids.  I always find something new.

“Since coming to the Food Closet, we are much more grateful to everyone who donates.  I wish I could meet them and thank them personally for helping my family in a huge way.”
