Crop Hunger Walk 2022

Join the SSIP community and participate in this year’s Crop Hunger Walk!

The Sacramento Crop Walk, sponsored by Church World Services (CWS), is a fundraising event that is walked individually by communities and churches for the week of May 15th thru May 22nd. Participants can walk safely anytime, anywhere, and any distance, during this week that is convenient for you, your family, your neighbors/friends, or Church groups.

Last year, almost $14,000 was raised, split between CWS and local food closets, including SSIP. This year, the Walk will again support Church World Services, but only SSIP will be the local beneficiary due to its unprecedented surge in Clients needing food.
